Description

Mit dieser App kannst Du an den Stolpersteinen, die in Erinnerung an die Opfer des Nationalsozialismus verlegt wurden, mehr über die Lebens- und Leidensgeschichten der Menschen erfahren.
Stolpersteine sind ein Projekt des Künstlers Gunter Demnig, das im Jahr 1992 begann. Mit im Boden verlegten kleinen Gedenktafeln, sogenannten Stolpersteinen, soll an das Schicksal der Menschen erinnert werden, die in der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus verfolgt, ermordet, deportiert, vertrieben oder in den Suizid getrieben wurden. Stolpersteine werden vor den letzten frei gewählten Wohnhäusern der NS-Opfer verlegt. Ein Stolperstein beinhaltet den Namen des Opfers und das Geburtsjahr, häufig das Deportationsjahr, meist das Todesdatum und den Todesort.
Funktionen der App: Mit der Kamera des Mobiltelefons kann ein Stolperstein eingescannt werden und so die Biografie des Menschen, an den erinnert wird, abgerufen werden.
Stolpersteine in der Nähe können über die Kartenfunktion der App gesucht und gefunden werden.
Zudem enthält die App einen Gedenkfunktion. Mit Hilfe von Augmented Reality kann eine Kerze am Stolperstein platziert werden und mit einer Gedenkbotschaft und dem eigenen Namen ergänzt werden. Andere Nutzer:innen der App können dann diese Kerzen dann sehen. Die Kerzen verbleiben für einen Zeitraum von sieben Tagen in der virtuellen Realität.

Stolpersteine Digital ist eine App des Landesbeauftragten für politische Bildung Schleswig-Holstein in Kooperation mit der Landeszentrale für politische Bildung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und der Landeszentrale für politische Bildung Bremen. Die Verantwortung für die Inhalte zu den Stolpersteinen liegt bei den jeweiligen Landesinstitutionen. Dataport AöR ist für die grafische Gestaltung und technische Umsetzung zuständig.
