I love Stringr...one suggestion... I think if you request tornado event footage it should be bought no matter what because the two minutes it took to run out to my backyard shirtless at 5am lol to quickly stake my go pros to the ground while the sirens are going off, then running to get pets and loved ones to my basement is worth a buy...don't ya think? Yesterday's clips didn't get downloaded and that's a first they were not bought for a tornado event...I'm team Stringr 100%. Just sayin lol

So everyone is out for a quick buck. These guys won't pick up half effort shots or shaky video. Think of what you see on the news and do exactly that. Get good clear and steady 30 second to minute and a half shots from multiple angles. The more footage you upload and the higher quality it is the more likely you are to get paid. This is great for volunteers because at that point we can get paid for helping out too.

If you want to waste your time shooting video at a double homicide, edit & upload the video and not get paid... Be my guest... Just know that there is no payment for your work "unless the end customer (who you have no contact with) chooses to use your work." Of course, you have no way to know if your video was actually used or not. And your time and work into obtaining footage becomes worthless when they tell you that the client didn't use it... Great system! Not!

Never get any requests for footage and even have the app set for a 50-mile radius. I'm set right in the middle of 3 major markets here in South Florida. Only have had a couple of requests for severe weather footage. Have had a lot of big news events happening in the s.e. Florida's area and not one request. It's been months since I've seen a notification for a request. Save you time and make more money by selling your footage directly to the news outlets themselves instead of Stringr. Uninstalled
