StripVision: AI Water Test

StripVision turns your Mobile Phone camera into a laboratory-grade spectrophotometric test-strip reader.

Stop guessing subtle color shades against printed charts. StripVision combines computer vision, published optical color science, and dual algorithmic engines to deliver verified ppm chemical readings in seconds.

OPTICAL COLOR SCIENCE & ADVANCED ENGINEERING
• Cheung 2004 Polynomial Color Correction: Smartphone cameras and lighting distort colors. StripVision implements the published Cheung 2004 polynomial matrix algorithm, neutralizing camera sensor bias, lighting shifts (2700K–6500K), and glare before computing values.
• Dual-Engine Cross-Check: Every measurement is computed by two separate algorithms simultaneously — an on-device classical CIELAB color-distance engine (ΔE94) and an advanced AI vision model. If both disagree beyond a strict threshold, no false number is shown.
• 5 Quality Gates: Every scan must pass 5 automated verification checkpoints: (1) AI Confidence, (2) ΔE94 color distance, (3) Engine ⋈ AI agreement, (4) Monotonicity gradient check, and (5) In-range chemical boundaries.
• Steady-Hold Auto-Capture: Hardware telemetry monitors hand tremor. The capture ring triggers the shutter automatically the split-second the device is stable and lighting is optimal.

MULTI-PAD 7-IN-1 TEST STRIPS
• One Dip, Seven Parameters: Instantly analyze Total Chlorine, Free Chlorine, Bromine, pH, Total Alkalinity, Cyanuric Acid (CYA), and Total Hardness in a single photograph alongside your bottle color chart.
• Eliminates manual color-matching fatigue across complex multi-pad pool, spa, and aquarium strips.

USE CASES & WATER TYPES
• Pools & Spas — Free chlorine, total chlorine, pH, alkalinity, cyanuric acid, bromine
• Aquariums — Nitrite, nitrate, pH, general hardness (GH), carbonate hardness (KH)
• Drinking Water & Wells — Total hardness, residual chlorine, heavy metals, pH balance
• Hydroponics & Agriculture — Runoff pH, nitrate concentration, nutrient water balance
• Industrial Water — Chlorine dioxide, conductivity, boiler & cooling tower checks

CUSTOM STRIP CALIBRATION & OEM PARTNERSHIPS
Manufacture test strips, operate a pool maintenance fleet, or use custom reagents? StripVision can be calibrated for your proprietary strip layout and custom color charts.
