Stud Finder

★★★★★ Did what I needed it to do so that's a 5star in my book 😂 I needed to hang some floating wall shelves up, but I didn't know where the first wood plank thingy started, so I downloaded this, and it showed me exactly where it was, after that it was easy to find the rest cuz they were evenly 16in to 17in apart. I used the scanner method, and it was sitting evenly at 56 all around for me, so if goes about 20-40 above that then tap a whole with a drill to confirm if you got wood or metal there. 10/10

★★☆☆☆ Instructions are limited at best. Where on your phone is the actual stud. Should you point a specific part of your phone to the wall? Or lay it flat? I'm getting great readings but have yet to locate the stud. Now I have holes all over my wall. Useless.

★★☆☆☆ I tried calibrating like it said and then tried to find the studs. No luck. I tried just seeing my phone on my cushion for the ottoman and the numbers just kept bouncing around. It never stayed still. I am no carpenter, but I am far from helpless. I've installed floors, built chicken pens, and consider myself fairly handy, but this app is impossible to comprehend. The numbers always stay between 48 and 56. They never stabilize and read differently every time I run my phone over the same area.
