Studio Darien Advanced Pilates

Studio Darien Advanced Pilates app is the app for advancing your Pilates practice. Based on the original advanced mat repertoire, Darien’s presentation delivers a home routine that complements all other types of workouts. With emphasis on the experienced Pilates student, this app offers an even greater range of exercises designed to further increase overall strength and balance. These forty-plus advanced mat exercises, although taught and practiced on the apparatus, were mostly originated on the mat by Mr. Pilates. He considered the Mat to be the most challenging apparatus because the body must use its own resistance to master each move. Also included is a section taken from the Reformer repertoire called “Short Box Series.” Often taught on the mat, this series alone defines the Pilates technique because of the requirement for pull-up, abdominal scoop and full-body stretch.
