Substreamer is a free, open-source music streamer for your personal Subsonic-compatible server. Stream, browse, and download your entire music library on Android — no ads, no subscriptions, and no data collection.
Verified with Navidrome, Subsonic, Gonic, Nextcloud Music, and Ampache. Also compatible with Airsonic-Advanced, Funkwhale, Supysonic, and other Subsonic API servers.

Download albums, playlists, and favorite songs for offline listening with background queue processing and automatic recovery. I'm having major issues with storage. I can not change storage location to SD card. When it tries it says "sorry something went wrong there (no external storage device could be found. Please check your SD card Status). Your storage location was not changed. Because I can't change location and because I can't set offline storage size less than 4gb I will have to delete this app as it is using too much internal storage.

Music skips periodically and won't play smoothly. I haven't had this problem with the symfonium app

Basic functionality works, and it looks damn better than any other subsonic player on the play store but just it being open in the BG causes it to break Bluetooth media controls for all media apps

Last update really borked everything up. The ability to easily change from a private ip address to a public ip address has been removed. This means every time you go from your LAN to your WAN, you not only have to log out and in, but also to remember your public and private ip addresses to type in. I've been recommending this app to everyone, but now I'm going to have to start looking for a replacement (or use my web interface). The only bright spot here is that I don't use the WAN that much.
