I can't figure out the rules for availability of automatic notes. Sometimes the icon lights up, and I can hit it for automatic fill_in, but other times the fill-in icon doesn't highlight, and I can't use it. Otherwise, I like the game.

My go-to sudoku app, but the quick notes feature is too smart; every time I've (accidentally) used it, the puzzle practically solves itself. I assume it takes things like X/Y-wings and other advanced techniques into account instead of simply going by the numbers already known. It's too easy to accidentally hit the quick notes button and ruin a perfectly good puzzle.
