Sudoku Scan&Solve is made for helping you solving Sudoku puzzles. It scans Sudokus from paper or images from your Album. Having scanned a Sudoku you can let it solve single cells, rows, columns or 3x3 boxes, tell you where a number is in a row, column or box, or solve the puzzle as a whole. As Sudoku Scan&Solve can also create Sudokus, you can also just use it as a simple Sudoku App that always tells you if you've made a mistake and helps you when you get stuck. Have fun!

Works well for scanning and playing immediately. Wanted to scan all three puzzles from the paper then solve them later, but you cannot save the scanned puzzles. Instead, can photo each puzzle using a piece of paper with a square cutout and scan from the album later. Number buttons are quite small could be bigger. Solving timer would be nice to have.

Finally, a Sudoku solver (with scan) that works. The scanned grid needs some editing if handwriting is not perfect (sometimes it shows wrong digit or left blank). Took a few minutes to realize that the eye symbol is used for solving single selected cells. From the similar apps that are out there, this is the best choice.

Excellent results of scanning puzzles, even ones with handwritten numbers. Very accurate scans. Solves puzzles in whole or part, but I sure would appreciate some kind of "hint" function (such as highlighting a square that is immediately solvable).

Didn't work at all. Tried several different sudoku book, and it couldn't scan any if them. Anything that works this bad has me nervous it's malware.

Camera does not scan Edit: Camera is working fine and app recognizes there
is a puzzle, but that's where it stops. I'm pointing my camera at the
puzzle, I'm looking at my puzzle with a high contrast filter on it and the
cancel button at the bottom. Nothing happens.

Scanning feature is best but where is pencil mark/note option ? Without that it is useless.

Once scanned, the app has the functionality less than pen and paper. No way to save the scanned game. No basic app functionality for notes, etc. Just solve in the paper or where ever you got the sudoku, this app is pathetic.
