So what is Sudoku exactly? Sudoku is a puzzle game designed for a single player, much like a crossword puzzle. The puzzle itself is nothing more than a grid of little boxes called “cells”. They are stacked nine high and nine wide, making 81 cells total. The puzzle comes with some of the cells (usually less than half of them) already filled in.
How To Play Sudoku: The objective is to fill a 9x9 grid so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3x3 boxes (also called blocks or regions) contains the digits from 1 to 9.
A cell is the smallest block in the game. A row , column and region consists of 9 cells and the whole game consists of 81 cells. A region has thicker lines surrounding it. This simply makes it easier to play the game.

Colors make it easier to solve, and the music is looped but lovely. Downside, sometimes it can be unresponsive between rounds making you quit the app before you can play another round.
