No fake keyboard that goes "beep". You actually type ls, read a file with cat, dig with grep, scan with nmap. The commands you learn in Sudorun are exactly the ones you will use in a real Linux, macOS or WSL terminal.
⌨️ LEARN LINUX BY PLAYING
Every mission has you type real commands: ls, cd, pwd, cat, less, grep, find, chmod, ssh, scp, nmap, netstat, xxd, base64, md5sum, iptables, tar, awk, sed… Built-in help (help, man) and a glossary explain every concept. You never copy the solution: you SEARCH for it in the files and the help, exactly like the real thing. A progressive academy trains you before each new concept, from complete beginner to advanced shell.
🎯 A CAMPAIGN OF CHOICES
A full infiltration and cybersecurity story, dilemmas that shift your karma and heat level, multiple endings, side contracts and a skill tree to unlock.
🏠 THE LAIR (IDLE)
Between missions, run your daemons and build your rig: your hacker desk fills up with screens, server racks, a coffee machine, a cat and many more items to unlock and customise.
⚔️ THE ARENA — YOUR BASE AGAINST EVERYONE ELSE
Build your own network by typing real commands, machine by machine: firewall, remote access, web server, database, domain controller. You watch it take shape in 3D as you go.
Then you publish it: other players come and attack exactly what you left behind — not a rough copy, your actual setup. And you go hunting for theirs.
An account is optional: it only exists so you can carry your progress from one device to another.
🔥 FUN AND ADDICTIVE
Combos, loot crates, S/A/B/C ranks per mission, mastery badges per command, random events, celebrations and a dynamic soundtrack.
🎓 WHO IS IT FOR?
• Beginners who want to learn Linux and the command line without a dry manual
• Computer science and IT students
• Anyone curious about cybersecurity, pentesting and CTFs who wants solid shell basics
• Developers who want to finally feel at home in a terminal
• Fans of hacking, coding and puzzle games
📴 THE CAMPAIGN PLAYS OFFLINE
The whole adventure — missions, academy, Hideout — works with no network and no account. Your progress is saved locally on your device. Play on a train, on a plane, or with no signal. Only the Arena, which is optional, needs a connection.
🎬 100% OPTIONAL ADS
A few bonuses (revive, double rewards, daily crate, cosmetics) are offered through rewarded ads — always optional. Nothing is forced and the fairness of the challenge is never affected. No purchase is required to finish the campaign.
⚠️ Entirely fictional universe, for educational purposes. No real machine, IP address or credential. Sudorun does not access any real system and does not teach you to attack anything: it is a game that teaches the terminal.
Ready to type your first command? sudo run.
Recent changes:
Google sign-in fix: closing the browser tab by mistake no longer cancels the sign-in in progress. It completes normally once you return to the game.
