I've tried all the free sudoku apps. This is the one I keep. Ease of play, extremely low battery use, clear and readable. Thanks! Edit 17Aug2014. New phone, reinstalled, still the best. Edit Apr2016, another new phone, another reinstall, still the best! Edit: 11/11/16 - animation didn't hurt battery life. Edit 14Jul2020 Finally got around to trying the squiggly version. Very nicely done, mostly superior in my mind to paper and pencil. The only thing I like better with paper and pencil is being able to write missing numbers next to rows and columns. This is how I play Sudoku 99.9% of the time.
