I am hearing impaired at lower frequencies This app and a microphone helps me tremendously. Put the microphone next to what you want to hear and adjust the app to your liking. I do not like the echo, but that is with app I tried. I like this app, the best.

I thought it was going to be a great app until I really wanted to listen to something. It only amps the noise within arm's reach. I was thinking it out of be able to track thirty feet. Maybe I can give better score next time

I am hard of hearing in one ear and thought this might assist, so I bought the full app. However, there is a time lag between the spoken word, which I can hear in my good ear and the amplified word through the app. So it is not suitable for my purpose. The app description should state this deficiency.
