This is an absolutely incredible app. Truly the only app that makes me feel like I could learn a language fluently- and quickly! The feel is so realistic and the travel from place to place has taught me so much culturally. Super fluent = #1!

I'm not going to buy a subscription quite yet for personal reasons, but this feels like a great app for more conversation-focused language learning. I do admit I miss the old conversation prompts/stories after the recent update, even though they were more difficult and open than the new "journey" mode. There may be occasions where the conversations are used past the demo, but not being hand-held by the "fill in the blank" style of vocab/grammar quizzing tested both much faster than Duolingo.

I used to really enjoy this app. I downloaded it last year, and it worked wonderfully—especially the grammar corrections at the end, which were genuinely useful. I even recommended it to friends. So it was quite something to come back and discover that it has become a paid platform. Of course, I understand that monetization is important—these things don’t run on goodwill alone. That said, the current “free version” feels so limited that it’s hard to see what value it offers.

It's not for free only, 7 days trial is available disappointing. I went to try and thought to learn language based on one comment that say its totally free which is not true.

Superfluous is a better name! I picked Italian, Beginner, as I know a few words. The app drops you into situations where you have to repeat words you have not heard before and which you don't know the meaning of. I can't see how anyone can learn a language without explaining the vocabulary as you go along. It's just parroting.

I liked this app for the first few days, seemed to be learning things faster...only to find out every other route is behind a paywall. Why do I have to pay in a language learning app, so I can learn a language? At least Duolingo lets me learn for free.
