I love the game, but often it is unbearably laggy, especially when there are multiple enemies or coins in the screen. Makes it impossible to play. How is it that super tux is 2d and laggy, but super tux kart is 3d and works perfectly?

They just slapped on a joystick and two buttons and didn't optimize it. It's laggy, and power draining. Also, the mentioned joystick is atomic. Just buy a computer, this 2d game takes more battery than a 3d game. It's also recommended to plug in/connect a keyboard (to your Android device) to play, and since there are literally no changes to the actual game (ignoring the joystick), the touch keyboard doesn't show up in places it should, like the new world/level screen.
