- Optimum ball size and load composition -

It has been developed to estimate the appropriate ball size for a grinding application determined by equipment data and knowledge of the process. Therefore, it is necessary to have data of the equipment where it will be used and also data of the type of material that will be processed.

It is very important that the data it calculates is estimates and its result does not reflect the size of a commercial ball, the next available commercial size must necessarily be taken.

This section has been developed to facilitate the level calculations of grinding media inside a ball mill, considering the real diameter, to achieve this it is necessary to measure the installed liners every time it is required to calculate the real ball level and speed criticism of work.

The data reported will be effective diameter, level of grinding media and critical speed of the mill.

- Load level in SAG mills -

This section has been developed to facilitate the level calculations of grinding media inside a semi-autogenous mill, in this case two options are considered, the first is that the installed linners have the same profile, which is considered high-high and the second type of profile will be considered as high-low. This is important because the actual diameter must be calculated in order to make the grinding media level determination. To achieve this, it is necessary to measure the installed liners each time it is required to calculate the real ball level and the critical working speed.
