Surakarta - Strategy Game

A capture can take the scenic route. Discover the Indonesian abstract strategy game Surakarta on a blue-and-gold 3D tabletop, with animated paths that make its circular loops easier to follow.

Each player begins with twelve pieces on a 6×6 board. Ordinary moves stay close, while captures travel through the board's loop routes. Find an unobstructed legal route through a loop to an opposing piece and plan how today's move changes tomorrow's paths.

The in-game rules explain ordinary movement, blocking pieces and loop captures. Legal move highlights and the move list help you learn this distinctive strategy game.
