Swift Backup

★★★★★ Very nice app that replaced Titanium Backup! However, I wish (1) it app/data backup process would be separate from the upload process (ideally, back up all the data sequentially + add [a watcher for changes in backup files OR add event watcher which would be triggered by the backup process after each app/data is backed up and changed] and automatically start the upload); (2) it could back up itself (it can back up its APK, but not its data/config);(3)we could manually back up apps in background.

★★★★★ This app will be your companion for ROM hopping. The best for backups when changing custom ROMs, as it allows you to back up and recover any type of data when you're a rooted user. But even if you don't use root, it is useful anyway.

★★☆☆☆ While Shikoku works in root mode and data size for a particular app is detected, it doesn't allow making data backups requiring root access. Shikoku runs throught adb in root mode ("adb root" is executed). P.S. I'm using LineageOS 20.

★★☆☆☆ Made a backup on android 11, flashed android 13, can't restore anything because the app does not see the backups. Colossal waste of time.
