I think this is one of the best indies I have ever played this past year. The art style is really cool, and the enemies look very interesting. My one gripe is the loading. The games seem to glitch a bit when loading the cload data, but it doesn't affect the enjoyment of the game

Swipe casters take a nice look, gives it boring game play, and terrible controls, so you can earn useless rewards Swipe casters has a nice, simple pixel style, but no amount of nostalgia is making up for this game. The game play is a bore, draw this shape, don't run out of time. It's like a click game, but you don't even get the fun of quickly mashing on the screen to up your damage or feel more productive you still have to wait for each attack to complete and then it to spin you a new card. When you do this enough times you get Soul Strike, which you would think is a reward right? You're wrong, it's a punishment. Soul Strike does no extra damage, still has to wait for the attack animation for the next move command to be shown, and half the time I would watch it detect me finger, draw a line for about 1 cm before it decided to disconnect and make me start over. This means you get about 4 attacks in with no buff. You don't cast this either it automatically activates which leaves no strategy to save it for bosses and if you get it on the last attack to kill a boss then CONGRATULATIONS!!! You now lose the ability as it loads the next wave. The only plus is that bosses can't attack during this time, not that it matters since blocking is simply hitting a button 10 times and waiting for you to continue the chores of drawing shapes. Regular grunts cannot attack, not unless you run out of time when drawing which then they kill you because you are only given 1hp unless you spend 10+ games grinding in game currency to buy armor which bumps you up to 2hp. Speaking of upgrades you have 3 extra draw time, extra soul strike time, more gold per kill. All of which are barely noticeable or just a means to an end which you will lose once you finish a round as the buffs don't carry over in any form of prestige system. If you want to get buffs to carry over grind to buy the different wands which are just a useless. If normal mode is to hard well don't worry it will only take grinding in normal to UNLOCK easy. I don't even understand this choice except for "PAY NOW TO PLAY THE GAME, MAYBE YOU'LL HAVE FUN" This game was nice in concept but got no love and no search for an enjoyable rounded experience. Do not download, DO NOT BUY FROM.
