★★☆☆☆ This app is poorly made. It's not that live and crashes a lot. It's usually behind in the score.

★★☆☆☆ This was a fantastic app until just a couple of weeks ago. Not to sure what happened with the developer. Before the last update, the UI was clean, simple, and the ads weren't too intrusive. I'd happily have paid $5 for this app as it was. However, things have gotten much worse, to the point that it is unusable. 1) For starters, the app doesn't even work properly. The scores don't refresh, and you have to close the and relaunch the app for the correct box score to show up. 2) The UI has change and is no longer intuitive. The 'Discuss' section looks like a poorly designed reddit app. 3) Ads are all now over the place - Want to view the box score? Here are 3 ads. And look, I get it, adds help keep things alive. But by placing ads like this app does is a great way to kill it and send your users elsewhere 4) Subscription model. Not everything needs a subscription model. And I'm sure people would be more than happy to pay $5 for the old app, but now you get the option of either $1.29/month, $7.49/year, or $23.99 lifetime? It's a box score app that's gotten worse. 5) The original app was posted on reddit from a guy who just wanted to help the community out. It's clear the app's direction has changed and monetization is more important. And that's perfectly fine - as an app developer, you're allowed to do this with your app. But don't be surprised when people start rating it poorly and removing it from their phones. This was a great app before, it's a real shame the developer lost his (or her) way.
