Pasting a password during sign-up is not possible (even though up to 128 characters are allowed), discouraging the use of a password manager and encouraging short and insecure passwords. But hey, security isn't important here. It's not like I can manage my credit card in this app. Why even disable it? Or is this a bug and not a feature?

Swiss card management decided to save costs by reducing services. This app is a disaster and disgrace but to be expected by poor management (for years). Have you looked at revolut and transfer wise? Down to 1⭐ because the app, with its limited functionality, sometimes doesn't even connect to its own servers or load data. For a money machine like swisscard it should be possible to program something that works well.
