Description
Sword & Sorcery is an epic-fantasy cooperative board game in which up to five players control heroes with unique powers, fighting together against the forces of evil - controlled by the game system itself - to save the kingdom and break the spell that binds their souls.
The heroes are legendary characters brought back to life by powerful sorcery. Weakened by the resurrection, they grow stronger during their story-driven quests. By acquiring soul points during battles, the heroes' souls regenerate, restoring their legendary status with multiple powers, magic and soul weapons, and powerful artifacts.
This S&S Companion App assists you during the entire Sword & Sorcery saga, handling your party and the soulrank enhancements of each hero. It can also be used to keep track of all Powers and Items acquired, in addition to the outcome of each quest of the campaign.
This application is a perfect add-on to the Sword & Sorcery board game experience. A physical copy of the game is required to make full use of the app.

Comments on Sword & Sorcery Companion App for Android
★★★★★
Good app. I found two bugs though. When you redeem a second code the before redeemed code is still in the input field. When you try to add an item to the stash but the selection is empty because you already have all items in it the error message is shown behind the current window.

I've only given this four stars as I feel there is room for improvement. There is no way of backing up your progress or using the app across multiply devices. It is very much stand alone on whatever device it is loaded on. Another necessary improvement is to be able to copy games. As you progress though a campaign game you are inevitably changing the stats as you go. But on failing a quest you have no way of defaulting back your original stats other than to write it all down. Pen & paper.

The new update is great.

App let me add items to my character and locked my account till I pay for dlc add ons. Lost my campaign information for using items in the base game.
★★☆☆☆
TL;DR - Don't download. Requires buying in-app DLC to use expansions or
hero packs in the app that you had to buy with the physical game, too. It's
dumb that after spending serious $ on the game or hero packs or expansions
to have to fork out $ for dlc to include those items in the companion app!
Take a lesson from FFG Road to Legend or give a code in the hero packs to
unlock the DLC for free! Also, no place besides "notes" to track gold. Not
sure this app was playtested with a single game being played before it was
published. More useful for an after-session snapshot to help setup the next
gaming session during a campaign. Otherwise it'd take someone standing by
doing nothing but changing things in the app to be useful during game play.
