Easy backup - Thank you 2BrightSparks! I've been using SyncBackSE for years to back up, including backing up files from my home PC to the external SD of my Android phones over Wi-Fi using an FTP Server app running on the phone. Unfortunately, with a recent upgrade to Marshmallow 6.0.1, the FTP Server app lost the ability to write to the external SD. I thought I would give Sync Back Touch a go, and am pleased to report that it was very easy to set up, and I can now back up from my PC to the external SD on my phone over Wi-Fi again. Very happy :)

I totally love the app. Exactly what I needed. It transferred about 80 GB of my phone data to my external hard disk (connected to laptop) in just about 3 hours. For a wireless backup, that's insane IMO. However, it can't seem to read my SD Card. So any help with that would be appreciated (even though I enabled the permissions properly, Syncbackpro doesn't read it). One thing I'd like to request devs is, would be possible to use this to 'Stream' files from my phone to laptop, or even vice versa? No backing up or transferring. Just browse and stream. As you said it can replace an FTP server. Hence, that functionality would be great.

Seamless operation For Windows SyncBackSE/Pro users SyncBackTouch is the best solution for connecting to your Android device over Wi-Fi and performing backup/restore operations. No more need for MTP and other bothersome methods.

Not recommended My phone (nexus 5, lollipop 5.0.2) needs to be unlocked before a connection to syncbackpro can be established. When the phone goes into standby the backup stalls resulting in a large list of uncopied files in the error-log. Something like BitTorrent sync can run in the background and keep files synced between phone and pc without user intervention, much more preferred.

Not recommended, no SD card support it can detect files and folders but doesn't write or synchronize files to SD card of my Galaxy Tab A. Rubbish program taking up space if it doesn't sync to SD card.

Not like sync back free Doesn't work like sync back on a PC. No way to select a group of files then send them to another device.

This product is defective. It does not sync everything from Android to Windows 11 properly. I have a folder on Android. It copies the folder to Windows, but none of the files. If you rename the folder, it will delete the old folder on Windows and create a new folder, but still none of the files. Bizarrely, if the file already exists on Windows, it copies it to the renamed folder. In reverse, it deletes the renamed folder on Windows and restores the original, but no new Android files. Useless
