tabtour

The tabtour is a product of the Teamgeist GmbH and an enterprise solution for factual learning, game, or meeting topics such as strategy, security, health and communications on new virtual paths, awarded with the german Tourism Award.

The tabtour based on an interactive hightech strategy game that combines learning with motivating experiences. The principle: digital tabspots are placed at the venue. Tabspots are with coordinate’s defined, worldwide, interesting, useful and attractive places which embody knowledge, views, or forms of play and are represented as puzzles, knowledge questions or tasks associated with images, texts or high-tech.

In an event, all teams get a Tablet-PC with this special tabtour application. The Tablet PC allows participants in first line to orient themselves, to navigate to tabspots, login to tabspots and to solve exciting riddles.

But what in the theory sounds like an easy GPS and Geocaching-Tour, is in practice much more than this, because the software has many more innovative features (reference to section features). So, the teams can communicate with each other in the game in real time. Puzzles can be solved in various ways (photo, text, multiple choice, QR-code) and additional audio or video files can be loaded. Player data can be retrieved and displayed on the map. Also, images can be shot, which are collected on a central PC even during the event and are available immediately at the end of the event.

In addition to the Tablet-PC, the teams get all kinds of navigation material like maps, compass and GPS. Backup and security solutions like manuals, roadbooks, operator calls and emergency cards are included.

The special feature of the tabtour is the high degree of freedom in the event. Site selection, order, point value, or speed are freely selectable by the teams. Only the time, the security, and the goal of achieving the maximum score put the frame of the game. The strategy, the focus, the team spirit, the creativity and the communication building together the Foundation for the team's success.

Team trainings, events or Congresses, all event formats are immediately selectable with the tabtour. Indoor and outdoor solutions are offered. In particular the good possibility of analysis and the simple measure of the success of the event are innovative.
