Privacy and Permissions: When you download Tala, we will ask to access and review certain information, such as your SMS history, in order to verify your identity and creditworthiness. We take privacy very seriously and your personal information will never be shared without your direct permission.

Terms and Conditions: To qualify for Tala loans, borrowers must satisfy know-your-customer and underwriting requirements. If approved, there is a one-time 12% processing fee deducted from the principal, along with the goods and services tax ("GST") on such fee (18% of the processing fee). Upon repayment, there is a one-time 3% interest rate charged on the principal. There is no minimum payment period for repayment; customers may make payments towards their principal at any time following disbursement. A one-time overdue interest charge of 8% of the outstanding balance may be applied to loans past due date. Additional terms and conditions apply.
