Tale born is a fun app to pass the time with. It allows you to create and participate in immersive stories and has deep rpg mechanics for your characters to keep you engaged and coming back for more.

I like the app a lot but I just want to know something. Does the level of your skill actually matter at all? Because there's time I've beat characters who had two lvl 5 skills while mine were 0... Also can we get a better skill system?

"The cruelest thing the dark ever taught me is that there's no one to be bitter at." The character driven story is filled with lines that put me in disbelief that Ai could write compelling inferences in such a manner. If you design a balanced character, their stories have depth. The battles are a bit of a confusing, albeit wonderful treat, and I don't understand why adventure tickets won't populate for me, so I can't experience dungeons. It's the perfect use of language model Ai with minor flaws.

It is an excellent way to pass the time watching commercials waiting to see how your character lost in ranked battles. For a similar result, one could play Markov and skip the commercials.

It's a pretty decently fun game, when the game doesn't decide that it hates you and put you up against enemies that are absolutely terrible. The matchmaking isn't very good and since the game presumably relies on the philosophy borrowed from Dachas- "give us your time and money to win", the competitive definitely isn't stable here. You think you're doing pretty good with your character until you get put up against somebody you cannot beat. Champions mode forces you to waste 2 minutes reading it.

Downloaded it, and it literally told me no violence first off. Then no sexual things. I'm like okay no sex fine. But no violence for a game that seems like it's about dnd which has plenty of violence. Uninstalled before making my first character

Your character doesn't come out anything like your character. You describe backstory in 200 characters, then the AI decides what actually happened and who your character is. Every trait contradicted who my character was, every image betrayed his description, and every conversation was driven by the incorrect persona that the AI gave him. This would be better if we were allowed to edit the backstory, personality, and skills, but clearly, this isn't an app for user creativity.
