If you paste plain-text, then "talk-to-me" will simply read it. When pasting a link or web-address, the app will get the text from that web-page.

This is good, but one minor suggestion, make it so that we can type text into it instead of just copy-pasting.

Excellent in its simplicity. Paste text, it reads it nothing else. Respect to devs doing this for the love, it's a shame this behavior is so rare and so hidden. Google's "do no evil" is long gone, the omnipotent algorithm buries true apps like this in favor of their add riddled, purchase punching data farmers allowing Google to bank their heft cut and a copy of the data while promoting literally everything miserable. This is the opposite, and proudly so. No frills, no bs, it reads text.

I've had this thought many times, and now I've got just such an app! It works great so far. Some ideas for future development: create options for certain text to be skipped (e.g. Wikipedia footnotes like "[2]", or URLs); queuing up a list of links to be read.
