Description by Dmitry Nikolskiy(from Google Play)
With Talkie (ex. Wi-Fi Talkie) you can organize communication between devices at distances of Wi-Fi signal without using an Internet connection or a cellular network.
MAIN FEATURES: • Working without Internet or a cellular network • Voice calls • Transferring files and folders at Wi-Fi speed • Group chat • Private messages • No Ads
HOW TO USE TALKIE: 1. Connect an existing Wi-Fi Network or create your own wireless network based on a Hotspot* of your phone or tablet, using “Network Manger” of Talkie. 2. Say people around you to connect the network you are connected. 3. Now you can use full functionality of Talkie!
FEATURES OF VOICE CALLS: • Good sound quality even if a Wi-Fi signal is very weak • Unlimited number of active calls • Speakerphone mode • Bluetooth headset support • Wired headset support • Noise reduction
RANGE OF WI-FI SIGNAL: The range of Wi-Fi signal depends on a hotspot and connected devices. Usually the range is not more than 50 meters (150 feet) indoors and up to 150 meters (450 feet) outdoors.
WHERE TO USE TALKIE: • Now you can communicate with people in previously unavailable places: airplane, train or any other long-distance transport, forest and mountains, stadium, concert hall and other public places where a cellular signal is weak. • Talkie is also well suited for communication within a Wi-Fi network of your home, office, school, university or dorms.
(*) If you create a hotspot while your device’s Internet connection enabled, then Internet tethering (sharing) becomes activated.
Talkie Localized to: English, Spanish (Español), Arabic (العربية), Portuguese (Português), German (Deutsch), Indonesian (Indonesia), Russian (Русский), Bengali (বাংলা), Burmese (ျမန္မာ), Turkish (Türk), Serbian (Српски).

I'll say it again. Awesome app Buy this app its worth every penny. If you are a tradesman it's a great asset. Use your Wi-Fi router as a repeater which will boost your signal

Definitely works on Wi-Fi (best of all I tried), can connect with users on 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz on the same network. Suggested improvements to make it 6 stars. 1. Person making call gets no audible indication that the person called handset is ringing - silence until pickup - if no pickup doesn't know if no answer or bad network connection? Please make call connecting tone on callers' handset when making call to show other persons handset is ringing. 2. Slow to refresh "People on-line" list when screen is woken, have to switch app off and on again to refresh list. Please instant auto refresh of the "people on-line" list when screen is woken. Still worth 5 stars!

Works well The sound quality with Wi-Fi Talkie is actually much better than either cellphone or landline sound quality! File transfers work well and are very fast. Only issue is that sometimes text messages never arrive, but this seems to be rare.

It took me more than two hours to realize that, once installed, Talkie Pro launches on power-up and is permanently connected to your Wi-Fi network. That put it beyond the two-hour refund policy on Google Play, as I learned when requesting a refund. So now I own it, for better or for worse. It does several very useful things, and it does them very well. But I don't want this running all the time. If it had an ON/OFF switch, even if I'd have to reboot after changing status, that would eliminate the need to install/uninstall it whenever I want to use it. So that's a feature suggestion for the developer that will earn an additional three stars from me.

Please help. Everything working from the phone but when paired with Bluetooth the mic is not working. I can hear the other party, while on Bluetooth, but they can't hear me. Using Hauwea honor 8. Big bummer, paid for app and can't use it.

Oops... update doesn't transmit my voice-over Wi-Fi network to recipient. But I can receive opponent's voice only. Fix it soon; otherwise useless. Thanks.
