Lightweight, usability trump all Not pretty, but excellent focus on usability. Numbers update immediately (no animations!). Buttons and font AS BIG AS YOU WANT. Little fluff. Using this to time laps at the racetrack so the minimalist approach and the immediate response of the app help me keep my focus on the tarmac. Bought the full version to free up space on screen, but a full screen option should be available. So should an option to reset stopwatch to 0 on split/lap.

YOU HAVE TO USE THIS Stopwatch/Timer because of the 'New & Improved Function'!!! L.droid's Stopwatch & Timer Pro (as well as possibly the none Pro version) as of 22 March 2018 with version: 1.7.8 - MAY NOW BE THE ONLY TRULY FUNCTIONAL ALARM APP in the Google Play Store. WHY? Because, the responsive developer - L.droid - has added the new function to set alarm sound volume level independent of any other sound level you should prefer (to activate this setting, go to Tools > Alarm & use the box on the right just above the sound level bar, find the proper one with 'keep' ending). This unique function, that all alarm or attention getting apps should have, appears on top of what I have found over the last several years to be the most customizable Stopwatch/Timer app available. This new function might be so useful, you will miss it in other alarm apps - it does not even appear in other L.droid apps, let alone apps by other developers! That's how good this app is.

Waste of 99 cents I was looking for a programmable timer that I could set different work: rest intervals such as Tabata. This is just a simple timer not programmable. I should have downloaded a free programmable app instead

Since few weeks it has a frustrating bug. Since few weeks I can not set any other ringtone than 'built in beep'. It says 'unknown ringtone'. Please fix it. I have to buy another app until it is fixed.
