I downloaded this game because I thought it would be fun, but I loaded it up, and it said network error even though my internet/network is on and fine

I'm sad. I used to love this game. It was a great time killer. But now it won't even load. It just sits on the loading screen with the girl looking up at the roof. I'm pretty sure the main character is supposed to be sitting up there, but he's not, and it just sits on that screen. Fix it, so I can play, and I'll give it 4 it 5 starts easy. Playing on Samsung Z Flip 3.
