Does exactly what it says in the description. You tap a tempo, it tells you how fast you tapped it. It's quite sensitive to missing beats and outliers, but that's what the reset button is good for.

Does exactly what you'd want a simple BPM meter to do. No ads, a BPM label, big tap button, and reset button. The reset button is required as the app maintains enough tap history to influence slower beats. Does NOT report decimal places, but that's only really relevant to slower beats. 1 bpm will be reported as soon as 42 secs instead of 60 secs due to this rounding.

This is exactly what I wanted. No bells and whistles extra. No ads. I was using a website for its prior, but that was still too much effort to get to. I have a mechanical heart valve that ticks like a clock internally. Annoying I'm going to hear it the rest of my life, but hey I get to live to 70 (before that, it was looking like 30 was it ☠️). So I don't mind checking on it, since if it starts to get above 120 BPM it's probably medicine time ☺️

Inaccurate, doesn't update speed fast enough, takes average of the last 8 to 16 beats and doesn't show a decimal place.

Innacursye. You need to keep hitting RESET. Guess that's why the programmer put that option in. Sloppy.
