Tappy Flap: Pixel Bird Game

Tappy Flap is a one-tap flying game: tap to flap your pixel bird through the pipes, level up between runs and see how far you can fly. A retro arcade bird game with a roguelike twist, and it plays offline.

Until 2 November the whole game wears its night look: a haunted title screen, candles, cobwebs and a howling moon. Play before 2 November and the Halloween theme is yours to keep. New in the shop's Events tab: Hexie the witch, Sir Headless, Patch the scarecrow and Midnight the cat, the Howl Moon world, Cobweb Columns, the Trick-or-Treat trail and Bat Burst. The deeper you fly, the faster and trickier it gets: gaps shrink, pipes start to move, and the world changes from sunny meadow to dusky hills, a starry city and a glowing crystal cave.

LEVEL UP BETWEEN RUNS
Every pipe you pass earns XP. Level up after a run and pick one of three abilities to keep: extra hearts, a coin magnet, gliding, time warp, a one-time Pipe Breaker, a Phoenix revive and more. Build your loadout, then take off again.

20+ FLYERS TO UNLOCK
Start as Coco the baby owl or Chip the red-headed woodpecker, then unlock a whole crew: a regular dude in a superhero suit, a grandma with her handbag, a baby in a propeller beanie, a garden gnome on fairy wings, a flying pig, a ghost, a UFO, a fighter jet, a paper plane and many more. Every flyer brings its own built-in perk.

MAKE IT YOURS
Collect coins and spend them in the shop on upgrades, flyers, pipe styles (candy canes, marble columns, neon tubes, solid gold), backgrounds and trails like Rainbow, Fire, Stardust and Gold Rush. Try anything before you buy it in a free practice flight, and switch between everything you own in Settings.

SAPPHIRES
Sapphires are the gem for event items like the Halloween flyers, and they buy coin packs and the Starter Pack too. The bigger packs come with up to 20% bonus Sapphires.
