Works exactly like I wanted on my Moto G7! I wanted it to replace this function that I lost from a previous phone. Great job dev! To set it transparent, in app settings, keep top gray Color slider in middle or to the right. Place widget on home screen and expand to take up some space. (I did whole lower 2/3 of the screen.) Go back to settings and slide gray Color slider all the way left and the widget will be transparent. Double tap widget area of home screen to lock phone. Highly recommend.

Been using for a while now because it's the best, however, I haven't been using it lately because the fingerprint sensor from the lock screen still shows on the always on display. Will burn in time. Developer needs to fix. Pixel 8.
