Tarjimly is an app that lets you volunteer as a translator or interpreter for refugees and NGOs around the world. Here's how it works:
1 - Bilinguals sign up and get notified whenever a refugee needs a translator. They connect in a live session where they can send text, pictures, documents, or even get on a phone call. High performing volunteers can even become certified!
2 - Refugees and Aid Workers sign up and request a translator based on their needs (like asylum interviews, emergency medicine, navigating a new country, or any humanitarian need). Tarjimly uses machine learning to connect them the best available translator in seconds.
3 - Everyone can signup as a Community Member, so they you can donate to support refugee translations, read impact stories, and invite 10 bilingual friends to signup.

I was trying to use the app for 3 weeks volunteering as translator. For that time I got around 10 requests to help, but never got possibility to help, as the message says someone else has taken the request. I believe is FAKE APP, they just collecting your data and all your personal details. Those options like: need a help, and connect with support does not work, I mean by pushing on them nothing happens. Is fake guys, don't even waste your time on this.

The call quality is very bad. So far had five sessions and wasn't able to translate due to bad voice quality. My internet was working for watsap or zoom quite fine but tardily was having problems with connecting, hearing, everything.

The fact if you are a volunteer and helping others makes you not be able to use the app for other languages if you need help with is a big downside. I can translate a couple of languages. But if I need help myself with other language then I can't use it myself. I just need to make another account for that
