After trying a bunch of gamified tasks and habit trackers I came across Hamitic. It has everything I need and more. It's helped me build better habits and increase my productivity significantly. The gamification makes me want to actually do chores, and I actually find myself looking for more to do, so I can keep playing. The team aspect really adds another layer of accountability for being productive. I give task hero a solid 5/5 and recommend it for anyone who struggles with productivity. -V

Incredible design. Major props to the developer. There are many "gamify your life" apps, but none matches this in the game aspect. The mechanics (like the mana system), art style, items, options to make the game harder, etc. are really well done. There are some small things I could nitpick. For example, I'd like to be able to set a task to come up daily rather than creating it as a habit. But so far, all my criticisms are very minor. Well done!

The best gamified to-do list out there! Checking off tasks is literally how you hit monsters during battle. You progress along a pretty world map, and have witty dialogue with NPCs. The task & habit lists are customizable, with the option to organize them into groups you create, and add a checklist of sub-tasks within each task or habit. You can use emojis in any text field to make your lists prettier and easier to understand at a glance. The devs are super nice and responsive to feedback.

Like the style - Locks Basic features behind Premium Notifications are a basic functionality of any to-do list app. I've had apps that max out at 2 per task before needing premium but none at all is ridiculous. Style-wise it's really cute but likely will stop using it because no notifications makes it unable to do its purpose.

Interesting enough to keep you engaged for a while. Nice graphics. The grind feels fair. However, it has a long way to go. Menus like "Daily review" are impossible to get out from without closing the app, there's no close button. The cosmetics pull you out of the fantasy theme. Some skills require party members to cast. You also need a guild for other skills and progress. So single payers are punished. A game that wants to be everything at once but doesn't quite deliver on any one thing.
