Tasmee

Tasmee helps you memorize the Quran by reciting it aloud. Choose a surah and a range of ayat, recite from memory, and the app listens and checks your recitation word by word against the Mushaf text, then shows you where you made mistakes.

Note: the app interface is in Arabic.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a surah and the ayat you want to memorize or review.
2. Optionally listen to a reciter first, with repeat.
3. Tap the microphone and recite. The ayat text is hidden and each word is revealed as you say it correctly.
4. Each word is marked correct (green), close (yellow) or missed (red). With instant correction on, the app shows the right word and waits for you to repeat it.
5. At the end you get an accuracy score, and the session is added to your progress and mistake log.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Recitation checking: uses a Quran speech-recognition model that runs on your device, with no internet needed. You can switch to Google speech recognition in Settings instead.
• Self-check mode without a microphone: reveal the text yourself and mark whether you remembered.
• Full Mushaf: 114 surahs and 6,236 ayat, readable offline. Search by surah name or words from an ayah, and filter by Makki, Madani, memorized, favorites or juz.
• Listening: 6 reciters (Mishary Alafasy, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary, Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi, Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, Maher Al-Muaiqly and Saad Al-Ghamadi), streamed from everyayah.com. Playback speed 0.6× to 1.4×, with ayah repeat.
• Daily goal: set how many ayat you want to memorize per day and see your progress on the home screen.
• Progress: memorized ayat per surah, a 7-day chart, an activity heatmap, your streak, 8 achievements, and a log of your recent mistakes to review.
• Bookmarks, light/dark theme, and adjustable Mushaf font size.

PRIVACY
• No account, no ads, no analytics, no in-app purchases. Completely free.
• Your memorization data, sessions and settings are stored only on your device.
• The microphone is used only during a recitation session. Audio is not recorded or sent to us. If you choose the Google engine, audio may be processed by Google.
• Internet is needed only to stream reciter audio (and for the optional Google engine).
