Tax Alert for eBay Sellers

For sellers on European eBay sites: Tax Alert shows you at any time how close you are to the EU reporting limits for online sellers, and warns you before you reach them.

Since 2023, platforms such as eBay have been required to report sellers to EU tax authorities once they reach 30 sales or €2,000 in revenue in a calendar year (EU directive DAC7). Being reported does not automatically mean you owe tax, but you should know when it's going to happen.

Please note: this app is built for the EU and UK rules. It does not cover US reporting (Form 1099-K).

HOW IT WORKS
• Sign in once with your eBay account and you're done
• The app counts your sales in the current calendar year and adds up your revenue
• Two progress bars show how close you are to 30 sales and €2,000
• The app checks for new sales in the background, even when you don't open it

ALERTS THE WAY YOU WANT THEM
• Three alert levels (info, warning, alarm), e.g. at 70%, 85% and 100% of the limits, fully adjustable
• Optional notification for every new sale
• Home screen widget with your current status
• Reminder before your eBay sign-in expires, so monitoring keeps running

SECURE AND PRIVATE
• Read-only access to your orders: the app can't sell, change or delete anything
• You sign in directly with eBay (OAuth 2.0), including with a passkey. You never enter your password in the app
• Sign-in data is stored encrypted on your device
• Your orders are fetched directly from eBay
