I came back to Tax Act like an ex-wife returning home after figuring out that what she had was the real deal only to have been replaced by a not-ungrateful woman you met online. Other tax e-filing apps cost twice as much and were too complicated.

Great App. Normally I use Turbo Tax but this year I used tax act because Turbo Tax forced me to input data from a state ID which I lost, and I couldn't complete the filing process. Turbo Tax tried to force me to file by mail which I didn't want to do. Tax act didn't force me to input that certain piece of data and the filing process was a success.

This app is a joke. I had my password from last year saved. Cannot log in this year with saved password. Tried to reset password. Entered verification code sent to my phone. Then they wanted a verification code from my email. Well you have to back out of the reset email to get the code from a new email. All it does is send you into a circle. I guess I will use TURBO TAX this year. This is the second year I have had trouble with tax act.

This stupid chat to set up my taxes is frustrating and slow. There is no option to skip and every time I go to finish I have to sit through the chat to load through my responses. Then as an insult you bring me to a page where I can just fill out the info myself but then don't give me the option to skip the chat. I ended up deleting my return because I had to re answer questions. I've used tax act for the last 7 years but your app is so terrible I now have to find a different service
