TCF IRN Prep: French B2 2026

An unofficial practice app published by AZSoft. It does not represent any government body and is not affiliated with France Éducation international (FEI) or the French Ministry of the Interior.

The TCF IRN (Test de Connaissance du Français pour l'Intégration, la Résidence et la Nationalité) has been mandatory since 1 January 2026 for French naturalisation (level B2 required), the 10-year resident card (B1) and the CIR and CSP procedures (A2). Four papers, 1 h 35 in total, scored out of 699 points for the multiple-choice papers and out of 20 for the production papers.

Prépa TCF IRN takes you to the level your application requires, without wasting your time. A complete DELF B2 track is included: it is the other qualification accepted for naturalisation.

Everyday life · Work and employment · Administration · Health · Education and training · Consumer rights · Society and civic values · Culture and leisure · Current affairs and the environment · Transport

EVERY ANSWER IS SOURCED AND EXPLAINED

Every explanation points to the key sentence in the audio or text and says why the other options are wrong. That is the elimination method, the one that wins points.

TRACK YOUR LEVEL

A score per paper, updated after every session, places you against the CEFR threshold for your procedure (A2, B1 or B2). Mock history and mastery per topic.

AN INTERFACE IN 3 LANGUAGES

Interface in French, Arabic (full right-to-left) and English. The content stays in French, the language of the exam.

Recent changes:
New: the custom mock exam. You build your own session: your themes, your number of questions, and your own timer or the official pace of the exam. It plays like the real thing, with no instant correction and no going back. Guides: task briefs no longer show an empty range or a repeated level.
