Ey it works! And if anybody needs this information check it out if you are using a mobile hotspot from a French phone or whatever, and you can hook the TV in the phone to the same hotspot, and you still can hook up to the app as a remote what. That's just in case anybody didn't know, but thanks for the remote guys

Works pretty decent. Don't have my remote for a tcl qm5, so I can't use the I.R. blaster mode, so I have to manually turn on my tv to use the remote over Wi-Fi

Didn't look on Google play for this app or downloaded it from the play store! It would not work properly. Apptoid is an app store you can find apps that haven't been messed with by Google to collect all your personal info. In sept Google locks down your phone, you loose choice forcing you to use the play store. Then they plan to start charging for apps and collect all your personal information. That was the trade-off, control over your device for data mining. Ios doesn't, but you are a slave to ios.
