Teach Your Monster to Read

★★★★★ This app is great for getting kids excited about phonics. My 4-year-old child loves it. Some games are more complex than others, and it might take a little one more than one attempt to understand how it works, but once they do, you will notice the improvement in letter/sound recognition.

★★☆☆☆ Been using for about 3 days now I loved it until now when ever I'm on practice mode I choose the letters I want my child to practice, and it gives her two completely different letters for instance I chose b and d, and it gives me b and s etc. and it's saying the incorrect letter sound for r and one other letter

★★☆☆☆ Pointless! My 4yr old has amassed a page of "Trickies" and can not tell anyone what a single one says because the collection method only "Tap it", effectively. The flower game is easily exploitable, just let the monster keep going, and eventually he'll be on the right path enough to pass. This learning program has a ridiculous amount of flaws and loopholes, she's been playing for months and hasn't learned a thing. We quit and put her on reading eggs for 2 weeks, and she is finally learning.
