Description

Packed with a variety of useful features, the App lets you easily register your Tech-Air® 5 Airbag System and monitor its status and battery life, as well as tracking the details of your ride. The App uses Bluetooth Connectivity to access the System’s data. Using the MyRide feature, riders can record location and speed continuously during a ride. Relive your ride and visualize your average and top speeds at any point along the route by zooming in on the map. MyRide gives motorcyclists the ability to record unlimited motorcycle rides and build up a complete library of individual trips, so you can easily retrace your trips and remember the great riding moments.
How it Works
• See top stats for the ride – including the exact location where these results were achieved, average speed, trip time and distance covered.
• Retrace each trip on an enhanced Google Map that shows your speed at any point you select along the trip.
• Build up an awesome library of each ride you take on your bike.
• Disable the Tech-Air® System when you’re going to start doing heavy off-road riding.
• Verify the deployment of the Tech-Air® System after an accident.
• Send feedback to the Alpinestars Tech-Air® development team.
• Update the System’s firmware whenever available.
• Download the online manual and useful documentation for air travel, shipments, and servicing.
• Register your products.

Was slightly nervous after reading some of the other reviews. But my own experience has been mostly positive, had two different Tech Air 5 jackets and the only issue I've come across is pairing the jacket to the app via the QR code on the jacket which didn't work for both jackets however ended up manually pairing both of them with the unique code in the collar. No connection issues after that and the app works as advertised. Would recommend.

Review to end ALL other reviews. Read the reviews for the app, and they made me nervous... Glad I was wrong. Of all the reviews I read it's obvious there is a lot of people having trouble with the app for various reasons...maybe they aren't good with simple technology or didn't read the manual lol. Charged my vest. Downloaded app. Put vest on and went through the calibration movements. Paired thr vest with the app. Set vest to road via app. Road for 10 s to finish calibration. Light GREEN=)

Can't register to the App. It doesn't send me the verification code. Thinking to return the Tech Air 7x and avoid Alpine stars equipment in general.

The app is continuing to give Error 39, and you cannot log in. It is more than 2 months that is not working!!!! Two updates till today and still not working seriously Alpine stars?! 😡
