My students and I love this app. It is a great way to teach programming and there is nothing more fun than having a computer control a drone. When you use the blocks to fly the Tello, you can simulate the flight before actually flying. You can also pilot the drone with the app used as a controller similar to the Tello app. We purchased the additional levels to the simulator and each one gets more challenging. This app is very well done and makes the Tello much more educational and fun!

This app doesn't work on Pixel 3 or above, and they haven't updated it in over a year. Customer service says they are working on it but haven't seen any updates for two months. Don't bother trying to get it to work or to buy the drone unless you pay attention to the supported devices carefully.

NOT EDU, NOT TELLO This app costs $40 to unlock all but the first 5 levels. They don't have an option for more than 1 device per account. So, for a class of 15 children, you need: 15 separate accounts $600/year. Yes, that's right SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS for 15 kids. EVERY YEAR How is this app labeled "EDU"? Also, this app is not made by Rye Robotics (makers of the Tello Drone). So, they can't help. I would be ok with the glitches, poor grammar, etc., but not for $40/child/yr...
