TempCam is a simple, privacy-focused temporary camera app that lets you capture photos and videos that automatically delete after a set time. It’s perfect for moments you only need briefly — quick reminders, temporary snapshots, or short video clips you don’t want to keep forever.
Media captured with TempCam is visible in your device gallery, just like normal photos and videos. When a file reaches its expiry time, TempCam automatically deletes it completely, including the gallery copy, so nothing is left behind.
To ensure expired media is removed on time even when the app is not in use, TempCam uses an Android foreground service with a visible notification. This service runs only to monitor and delete expired files, and it does not record, upload, or track anything.
Everything stays 100% on your device. TempCam does not collect personal data, upload files, or track users. There’s no account, no sign-in, and no analytics. Your media is stored locally and removed automatically when its time expires.
