Temple of Thunder

A ring of rune stones stands in a storm-lit hall, and the lightning does the talking. It strikes one stone, then another, laying down a pattern in light and thunder — and the moment it falls quiet, the floor is yours. Tap the stones back in the exact order the storm picked them. Get it right and the pattern grows by one more strike; miss, and a bolt of your own fades away. Three wrong taps and the round is lost, so every sequence is worth watching to the very end before your hand moves.

It starts kindly. Four stones, a short run of three or four flashes, plenty of time between each. But the storm learns fast. New stones are added to the ring, the flashes come quicker and sit on screen for less time, and the pause between them shrinks until the pattern arrives almost as a single rolling crash of light. What began as a comfortable call-and-answer becomes a real test of how much you can hold in your head at once.

Thirty levels carry you from that gentle opening all the way to sequences long enough that you will catch yourself whispering them under your breath. Each level sets its own target length, and reaching it clears the stage and unlocks the next. Your best run on every level is kept, so there is always a personal mark to beat when you come back to a stage that got the better of you.

There is nothing to read and nothing to configure — one look tells you how it works, and the first flash tells you whether you were paying attention. It is the kind of game that fills a spare minute and then quietly eats ten, because one more strike is always worth trying to remember. Sharpen your memory one thunderclap at a time, and see how far into the storm you can go.
