This review will probably prove frustrating to anyone new to TAW looking for a technical review. All I can say is I find the content and analysis first class. In the overpopulated world of football podcasting TAW stands head and shoulders above anything I have seen. Obviously I am biased as a Liverpool fan but listening and at times watching match previews and reviews delivered with precise stats, expert analysis and all the passion any fan would need. 10/10 lads wonderful work! I'm a long-term subscriber. The lads are good. But paid, often lengthy advertisements, in the middle of podcasts is starting to get extremely irritating when you're already paying £7 a month, which has only recently increased for £5. If it was free, fair enough, but it's not. This is starting to put me off keeping my subscription.

Update: the app is now crashing and not loading. Android 15 Poor audio app. Complaints that others have made, particularly on the media controls, that have been pounted out to The Anfield Wrap for ages but for some reason they don't seem bothered to fix. Perhaps they only really care about their iOS users. Who knows.

Could be a good app but it's so buggy. I don't want to subscribe as I purchase tokens so the app is my only listening option. If that's the case needs to be so much better. Podcasts cutting out after 5/10 mins since early 2024 with no sign of a fix. Have to restart the app entirely and refind your place in the podcast - not exactly enjoyable listening! More recently cuts out after 30 seconds to a minute with the same workaround required to keep listening.

Content is great but the app does strange things like stopping every few minutes, skipping back in shows and saying no membership when you do have a membership
