I've noticed recently there are problems with casting stream to Chromecast speaker from your app. I use the couple of different apps and all cast music correctly (on Android 13). Is there some general issue with your app at the moment?

Not sure where all the negative reviews for ad breaks are coming from, I've been a user for about 6 years now and have had no issues. I get 1-2 adds at the start of the stream and then no interruptions from there for hours of listening. I use this to listen to the current daily!

Way, way, way too many donation ads/breaks for a music app. Please try
again with retooling the app as I love The Current and want to support the
channel/station as much as possible.

Terrible app. Music is interrupted 1-2 times per song for a disinterested sounding voice to read donor recognition ad copy--often the same ads, over and over. I appreciate the need for donors, but other Public Radio stations like KCRW manage to play tons of great old and new music without interrupting a single track for donor ads. There is no longer any room for this level of advertising abuse, when so many others music app options are available. It doesn't matter how good your music curation is if we can never listen to the music without at least one donor ad interruption mid-song.

I love listening to The Current, especially to start my day. The recent app update constantly stops playing on my Android phone in the app and in a browser. Please fix this issue! As a sustaining member I want to continue to listen to the great music!
