This app has vastly improved recently. You can see an image of the newspaper then click on article. It's easy to navigate and easy to read. This app has made me finally think about stopping delivery of the newspaper and just using my subscription to read electronically

Much better app now. I had refrained from updating because I didn't want the e-paper on my S23+. I finally updated on 3/19/23 and it seems much better. You can choose your reading preference, either the e-paper or the news feed, which I prefer. That version added something missing in the old version, the ability to navigate by sections, such as news, sports. Finally, I tested the search function, which used to be worthless. I searched a name, and it came up in the news feed and in the e-paper!

Terrible. Will not link Google subscription to DMN, so there's no way to actually access the paper. Called DMN; not their problem. Class action, anyone?

Something goes wrong multiple times a day. Usually it's massive flickering when you try to read an individual article - and customer support has no idea what to do about it. Today it logged me out and won't let me back in. This is the worst app I've ever used. DMN is betting its future on this thing, which, as a loyal reader for 25 years, alarms me. The News needs to organize a reader feedback group for help while they still a few readers left.

I just signed up and downloaded the app. It's freezing like crazy. They should remove the app altogether and not advertise this as an option to read the news. Hope I have better luck with my e-tablet. I'll give it a chance.
