The Midnight Archive Master

The Midnight Archive Master is a first-person horror exploration game set beneath a city that forgot it ever had a library. The public reading rooms are long gone, but the lower stacks remain open after midnight. Their catalogues have learned to rearrange themselves, their doors remember every hand that touched them, and the fluorescent lights only guide visitors deeper.

You enter the archive to recover the Archive Shards, glowing pieces of a broken record that can reveal a safe route out. Each shard has been filed somewhere it should not exist: behind a locked storage door, at the end of a service corridor, or inside a room that has quietly changed while you were looking away. The mission is simple to understand and difficult to survive: recover the shards, stay quiet, and do not trust a path just because it was clear a moment ago.

The facility is watched by the Archivist, a tall mechanical custodian built from a dented card-catalog drawer, brass fittings, and an old navy coat. Its cyan eye scans the corridors for anything that has not been filed correctly. It is not interested in chasing strangers for fun. It wants every missing fragment returned to its shelves, including the ones you carry.

Explore early-3D inspired archive halls, storage rooms, and forgotten wings. Read warning posters, use environmental clues, and learn which routes remain safe when the lights begin to flicker. The visual style combines chunky game-era geometry, textured navy panels, charcoal tile floors, pale ceiling fixtures, and antique brass archive details. Every location belongs to the same strange institution, from its locker-like storage walls to its hand-stamped protocol signs.

Features:
1. First-person exploration through a shifting subterranean archive.
2. A focused collection objective built around recovering Archive Shards.
3. Tense avoidance gameplay against the mechanical Archivist.
4. Environmental storytelling through archive protocols, signs, and hidden catalogues.
5. A stylized early-3D horror presentation with readable, tactile materials.
6. Compact rooms and corridors designed for careful observation rather than brute force.

The Midnight Archive Master is about the unease of being catalogued by a place that should be empty. Move carefully, notice what changes, and recover what the shelves refuse to forget.
