The Needle in the Haystack

One enormous haystack. One hidden needle. A crew that works together.

Crossplay: Android, iPhone and iPad play together in the same yards. Share the invite code with your friends, whatever device they use.

Create a private yard for friends or join a public crew. Up to eight players collect hay, take it to the dealer and spend shared in-game money on tools, research and machines. You can also play solo.

Start with your hands, use shovels and pitchforks, fill buckets and wheelbarrows, and build conveyor lines. Generators, balers, robot arms and scanners help your crew. Support excavated tunnels and recover the needle yourself. Then start a fresh haystack: the yard's money, research, machines, equipment and progress reset. Choose hands-only mode for an extra challenge.

Dealer and tools: the dealer confirms the value of every delivery, and the proceeds belong to the whole crew. At the dealer you buy research and licenses for shared tools such as buckets that work across the whole world.

Progress saves automatically. Without further activity, a yard can expire and be deleted after 24 hours. Personal credits and permanently purchased tools survive a yard reset.

Sign in with Google and an internet connection are required. Optional credit packs are available through in-app purchases. Credits buy selected permanent personal tools. Tools needed to reach the goal are also obtainable with money earned through play. The game shows ads; ad-free play can be unlocked permanently with credits.
