When your eldritch existence is threatened by another unthinkable creature, you find yourself jumping dimensions to escape your ghastly fate. Safe for now, your moment of respite is short-lived as you realize you're stuck on Earth, trapped inside a dumb human larva, and with no clue of how much energy you'll need to leave this horrible place behind.
Twenty-six years later you're still stranded on an absurd planet, you have a mom and a sister, and a job delivering baked goods. Not only that, but the creature that almost ate you all those years ago never really stopped looking for you. However, there’s no way it will pinpoint your actual location… right?

I loved the story and the characters! The romance aspect of the game was absolutely incredible and Jonny quickly became my favorite romanceable character in all the Hosted Games. It was a pleasant surprise to see the WIP I played years ago finished, and I wasn't disappointed in any way while playing it!

I would have never expected a horror story about an eldritch being hijacking a human to make me laugh and cry, but it did. Shockingly heartfelt, extremely well written, with vibrant, lifelike characters. Your stats freeze after the prologue, so you don't have to micromanage, which is nice. It felt more like a linear story than a choice heavy CYA, which I didn't mind at ALL because of how gripping and genuinely GOOD the plot is. And at the end - You can live happily ever after :)

I used to really like this story, but the app itself has become unusable. Ads are coming back at random and the whole thing restarted by itself right near the end causing me to lose progress. All of CoG/HG games just keep saying "bug fixes" for the changelogs, and yet there are more bugs than ever.

It was a long game. Lots of words. However, the story didn't excite me all that much. If I was a teacher I would grade this as a C- Not my cup of tea, but maybe someone will like this tea.

Starts off great then goes down hill. I struggled to finish this. Would not recommend. If you're looking for a horror/thriller read Fog Knows Your Name.
